Hello, everyone!10153668_10152467281071538_5297790616540791969_n

My name is Jillian Ryan and I am so excited to be the newest member of the LFP family. I am the first intern here at Live Free Photography and I am excited to see what this experience will bring and what I will learn. I have only been working here for a few weeks and I already feel at home.

Here’s a little more about me to get started…

I am a junior at the University of New Hampshire where I study Fine Art with a concentration in Photography.

I spend a lot of time in the art building on campus (I’ll be honest, I’ve slept on the floor before while attempting to pull an all-nighter), but when I’m not there I am usually searching my house for candy or dreaming about designer clothes I can’t afford.

In addition to digital aspects of photography and printing like we do here at LFP, I spend a lot of time in the darkroom. For my personal work, I like shooting using medium format film cameras and experimenting with alternative processing techniques in the darkroom. I am also learning how to use a 4×5 view camera in one of my courses this semester.

I am so excited to be working with Emily and to learn about all the great things she does! I can’t wait to meet and work with each and every client.

Welcome, Jillian, it so nice to meet you. Hopefully, sometime soon, I’ll have the chance to stick my head in the door and say hi in person.

ps: Just this past week I was searching my cabinets for any hidden stashes of chocolate left over from Valentines Day. We may be kindred spirits!
